President of the German Bundestag, Wolfgang Schäuble, has said that migration is the biggest problem facing Europe.
In an interview with BBC Newsnight, the CDU grandee was asked by a bewildered Beeb reporter if he would really rank migration “as a bigger problem for Europe than the Eurozone, Brexit, or some of these other challenges we’ve talked about”.

“Yes,” Schäuble replied.
“Actually the biggest problem is migration.
“The Eurozone – we have been more successful than most people expected in managing the Euro crisis in the last eight or nine years and we will continue and to Brexit as I already mentioned, We will do whatever we can, whatever the final decision, to have the best and closest relations with the UK as possible.”
This chap seems alright, Angela Merkel should listen to him a bit more!
