Flint: EEA doesn’t address voters’ concerns about open borders

With some Labour Remoaners pushing the ‘EEA model’ which would essentially keep the UK locked into all EU policy, including freedom of movement, it is good to see more sensible Labour MPs pushing back.

Caroline Flint was on the Sunday Politics earlier, where she laid out how EEA membership doesn’t allow for control of migration that the British public voted for.

“It is not an answer to the concerns of the British public over freedom of movement,” she said.

Sad to see so many politicians still ignoring the will of the people, but fair play to Flint.
