The Director General of MI5, Andrew Parker, has revealed that the security services have thwarted 12 Islamist terror plots since the Westminster attack in March 2017.
It shows the terrifying scale of jihadi extremism in Britain, with Parker describing speaking of an “unprecedented tempo in attack planning”.
He also revealed that since 2013, 25 terror plots had been stopped thanks to the police and security services.

He underlined the need for continuing co-operation with other European countries moving forward to combat the terror threat.
