Tory MP Anne Marie Morris has said she wouldn’t vote in favour of the Chequers Brexit proposals and thought it was ‘a complete non-starter’.
When asked on Daily Politics if she’d support it, she said: “No I wouldn’t. It does not in my view deliver Brexit.”

“It takes away the main benefit that we’re looking for in Brexit which was the economic benefit. The ability to negotiate our own free trade deals.
“The common rulebook has made that a complete non-starter.”
The fact is that May’s plans don’t represent Brexit. They don’t give Britain the freedom to strike ambitious trade deals around the world. It’s Brexit in name only and that’s completely unacceptable.
