UKIP Leader Gerard Batten stands with Geert Wilders at ‘Tommy Robinson rally’

UKIP’s move towards becoming an anti-Islam party continues, with Party Leader Gerard Batten having stood with the Dutch Geert Wilders yesterday.

Batten tweeted a photo of himself with Tommy Robinson, promoting the event demanding that Robinson be released from prison.

Another large crowd turned out for the event.

Wilders tweeted “Free Tommy” with a clip of his speech.

But there as trouble, with some who attended later attacking the police.

That’s despite Wilders receiving huge police protection.

Batten condemned the violence after.

UKIP now appears to be a fully fledged anti-Islam party. The idiots who attacked police should have the book thrown at them.
